  1. The owner’s manual for my 2011 Ford Escape states that the fuel filter lasts for the lifetime of the vehicle and it does not need to be replaced. Is this true? I have 86k miles on my Escape and it has the original fuel filter. I only get 16.5 mpg because it’s AWD 6 cylinder engine. Will replacing the fuel filter improve fuel economy?

  2. Mine is not half way, its 1/3 from back wheels, so i raised the back up, 1 retainer is different, far from obvious how to “push in”, hell to deal with.

  3. Can your fuel filter if it’s clogged up cause your car to lose pressure can cut off
